Contracting had been the core activities until the creation of the property and management corporation in order to diversify the firm's client base and leverage their expertise. Through both of the RH firms, Mr. Howard has had extensive project management experience in both large scale and time critical assignments. Facilities property management background has included 3 commercial properties, a senior housing residence and a 182 unit co-op apartment. Commercial assignments have included all phases and facets of building infrastructure management including but not limited to structural steel and concrete work, structural framing, foundations, drainage, exterior facades and sealing, windows and lental replacement, roofing, fire suppression systems, emergency repairs, terraces AC sleeve replacements, etc., as well as contract and vendor negotiations.
Mr. Howard has been in the contracting and Construction Management business for 25 years, 19 of them as an owner or co-owner. The RH branded firms were formed in 2007. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business to complement his contracting services and carries a Westchester County and a City of Yonkers Contracting License, is OSHA certified as well as Lead certified. Multiple contracting assignments have been featured in architecture and design magazines such as the cover photo/story in the April 2009 issue of Habitat Magazine titled "Searching for a new approach," pg's 24-27; and in the October 2008 edition of the Westchester Magazine, "The grand re-opening of The Center for cosmetic Dentistry," pg. 55.
